Karen has outlasted every other provider I have worked with in the last 10 yrs for good reason. She is invested in the work, collaborates with other providers when needed, and can keep a level head no matter what I say to her. Our relationship shifts as we need it to fit the intensity, frequency, and issue at hand. Sometimes I need support or skill building, other times I need someone to bluntly call me on my BS. Karen has that flexibility in her practice style and it's honestly a breath of fresh air compared to other newer clinicians who are uncomfortably by the book or impersonal. It's been so nice to work with a human who is invested in the well-being of her clients.
