I have been going to Dr. Swanson for about 6 months and I cannot explain how amazing of a therapist she is. She listens, is careful with boundaries, really focuses the appointment on YOU rather than herself and her thoughts about everything unless its needed and wanted. After telling people about my sessions with her they are so happy that I found such an amazing therapist. She is constantly teaching herself new things and clearly expresses it when she learns things from you during a session that could help with your case or just gives her another perspective to help her general knowledge. She isn’t the type of therapist who will sit with you for 30 min and have a diagnosis for you. She actually makes time to learn a LOT about you before slapping a diagnosis or label, which is great, so she actually gets it correct and goes down the right path of treatment. Appointments never feel rushed and I literally cannot find any downsides whatsoever about my therapy experience with Dr. Swanson!!
