How likely are you to recommend John Drexler?
I had seen John years ago for several years. I suffer from an anxiety disorder since I was a kid. John gave me the tools to cope with generalized anxiety and panic attacks that were crippling my daily life. He is very goal oriented and will put you in challenging situations to help build up your tolerance to the situations that cause anxiety. For me personally I would get panic attacks from driving "far" distances and large crowds. In order to build up that tolerance and to learn to use those tools that he taught me to manage it he had me drive on the highway and take trips. He also had me not avoid large crowds. He wanted me to go to movies, professional sports events and the like. The anxiety is still there. However; I have learned to manage it to go on with life. I've flied on an airplane (which wouldn't have been possible without his counseling) and had season tickets to they Bucks last year (when the were in the Bradley Center). All around his approach is helpful.
