Jen is a wonderful midwife and all around amazing person. We had our first child in September of 2019 when Jen was practicing at Cascadia Women’s Clinic in Vancouver, WA. Coming into our appointments, Jen was always available to answer the millions of questions we had as first time parents going through our first pregnancy. She made us feel heard and never brushed off any concerns we may have had. At our 6 month appointment, we found out that Jen was leaving the clinic to move to Bend, but we were relieved to hear that she was staying at the clinic through the end of our pregnancy. We ended up having our son 2 weeks early but, unfortunately for us, Jen was unable to be there for his birth. She prepared us well, though, and even though she couldn’t make it, we had a smooth labor and delivery (we channeled our inner Jen and could imagine all the encouragement she would have given us had she been there).
