I was there for a specific review of a problem I had previously had and I was sent there by my Cardiologist. Janine is the PA to the doctor my cardiologist wanted me to see and she was available on short notice. We hit it off immediately as she had trained at Northwell LIJ and my Thoracic Surgeon is one of the legends at that institution. She was very thorough, worked closely with the tech doing my evaluation and explained everything they were looking at and why in great easily understandable language. She is a lovely person and takes a real interest in how she can make her patients lives better. She even called me after I left when she was reviewing my chart and realized today was my birthday. Even though I never was in a hospital bed, I give her bedside manner very high marks.
