My mother had a back spasm and after almost 6 weeks of zero improvement and nothing to lose, we chose to try Acupuncture. Dr. Bender was the only doctor approved by our provider and I'm so glad he was! We may not have had such a wonderful experience with a different doctor. Extremely thorough in his questions and explanations. Thoughtful, patient, great bedside manner. I was able to be in the room during Mom's procedures. Having never witnessed or experienced acupuncture, I was mesmerized. He calmly explained everything he was doing and the results he was trying to accomplish. His knowledge of medicine is extensive and well-rounded. He even did a small hip adjustment on Mom which really helped ease her (hip) pain. We'll never know for sure if mom's improvement was due to passing time or Dr. Bender's acupuncture. Could be both. But Mom and I are thoroughly pleased with Dr. Bender and we could not give a higher recommendation.
