I like that he still does Zoom appointments. He listens well, is empathetic and challenges my inaccurate assumptions and thinking errors in a compassionate, nonthreatening, nonjudgemental way. He is excellent in CBT, DBT and keeping me frcused on my present. This has been clinically proven to help over dwelling on one's past. I'm improving handling my thoughts and feelings in a productive, healthy way. I've had several bad therapists in the past who didn't help me. Dr. Kaake is what a therapist should be. He actually guides me toward positive change in my behavior and thoughts. He gives me homework that is helpful and doable. He is excellent with brain injury, PTSD, Anxiety, chronic pain & deression.
