I saw Erin for about three years and it was the best investment I've ever made in my mental health. She worked with my psychologist's diagnosis and talked me through what it meant and how the symptoms had shown up, and were showing up, in my life and impacting my decision making. We worked on specific strategies to address triggers and to leave unhealthy environments. She pushed me when I needed to be pushed but she also found new strategies when we hit a wall. I loved the supplemental materials she gave me. I could really tell she cared because of the amount of effort she put into continuing our conversations from the last session, finding relevant and needed supplemental materials/writing prompts, and even finding community resources I would need. I think it can be really hard to find a good fit in a therapist, and I'd really recommend Erin to people who want someone who listens supportively, creates a safe environment, and asks questions that show she was really listening.
