I've been working with Dr. Karlin for a few months now. If you're looking for a kind, sensitive, caring therapist who puts your well-being at the forefront of every appointment, then she is the therapist for you. When Dr. Karlin and I first started meeting, she took time to get to know me as an individual. She broke down my barriers and I really feel open and vulnerable with her. She focuses on what YOU want to work on, and helps you find the path to develop the tools you will need to address what you visited her for. In my time with her, we have done wonders to address my body-image issues. I no longer look in the mirror at myself and only think about the things I want to change. She helped me rewrite my internal narrative from one that only focused on the unfinished work to one that is grateful for all the amazing things my body allows me to do. Thank you so much for your help in our work together. My life is better for having met you.
