Dr. Kousa and the pediatric neurology team at DC Children's are simply incredible. I could say so many wonderful things about Dr. Kousa. About 3 years ago my daughter, at the time was 1 month old, was diagnosed with a rare illness after emergently being flown to DC. Dr. Kousa was wonderful with my daughter, myself and husband. He was always calm and concerned. He listens and answers questions. I want to say they learned a lot about this rare disease thanks to him and learning from her diagnosis. To this day, about once a year he reaches out to me to see how my daughter is progressing. She was taken care of appropriately and timely with her care and diagnosis, which many of the team had never been witness to this illness to prior to my daughter. He is forever etched into my memory bank for the care he provided.
