A busy and compassionate gentleman who will be sorely missed here in Lancaster. Urology must be a truly thankless field, for patients are mostly elderly and in pain (including me.) But William Batten always treated me with effectiveness and respect, and his front office was efficient. Over 18 years he extracted my abundance of kidney stones, which are painful whether or not they're removed. Everyone I know was saddened when he announced his retirement, and we wish him well.
