Our experience with Dr. Bernal was what we were hoping for in a pediatric rheumatologist for our teenage daughter. She has a few contributing factors at play and at times has difficultly expressing herself. He was patient, kind, understanding, funny, he listened to what she had to say and in no way talked down to or tried to diminish what she was saying and feeling like so many before. We all are so greatful to Dr. Bernal and all the UCSF staff for helping us try to help our girlie heal. ?? UCSF
