My reason for visiting Dr. Garrett was strep throat, which he diagnosed and treated successfully. What he didn't know at the time was that I was struggling for months trying to get answers from other doctors about the Cancer I was recently diagnosed with. No one wanted to give me direct answers or make suggestions on what I should do next. Because I felt so comfortable with Dr. Garrett, I just decided to go ahead and share my story with him. He listened, thought about it, gave me some thoughts about Cancer in general and shared his opinion that I was making the right decision to amputate the fingertip that had the subungual squamous cell carcinoma. No other doctor would just say that. I GREATLY appreciated Dr. Garrett's willingness to share his knowledge, experience and opinion. I have since had the surgery and feel 100% certain that I made the right decision. Thank you Dr. Garrett!
