I was having severe pain in my belly area. After a while, I decided to go to the ER at White Rock City Hospital. Dr, Dang began my evaluation with several blood tests, and at the same time treated my pain. My tests came back negative for anything that might be causing the pain, so Dr. Dang said that before I go, he wanted to have a CT scan preformed - just to be on the safe side. My results came back - I had pancreatic cancer. It is normally a certain death sentence, but because Dr. Dang was thorough, and ordered the CT Scan, my cancer was caught early. I recently had surgery to remove the tumor, and the surgeon said that he was able to get all of it removed. Early detection by Dr. Dang has given me a second chance at living once more.
