Being a person involved in a motor vehicle accident with injuries, I know what it is like to be in constant pain and misery for years. After researching and meeting with several surgeons, I chose Dr. Troy Mounts. Dr. Mounts showed me the utmost respect in assisting me with finding the best option for my issues/concerns. He discussed with me the benefits and disadvantages of all of my viable options. When all was said and done, I decided to go with the option of cervical disc replacement with possible fusion. Thankfully, during the procedure, Dr. Mounts determined that I was a candidate for dual disc replacement and no fusion (with my prior approval). I am pleased to say within the same day of surgery I was finally no longer experiencing the daily migraines and vomiting I had before surgery. I was also pleased to state that, now, months after surgery I am proud to state that I have a full range of motion (gained after day 1 of surgery), no pain, and living a life better than before!
