Dr. Hendry's Background
Dr. Hendry is an orthopedic surgeon practicing at Intermountain Summit Orthopedics in Layton and Ogden, Utah.
Dr. Hendry earned his medical degree from George Washington University in Washington, DC. He then completed an orthopaedic surgery residency, followed by a fellowship in sports medicine, shoulder and elbow reconstruction, and arthroscopy at the Virginia Commonwealth University Health System in Richmond, Virginia. Dr. Hendry was a physician for the University of Richmond Spiders football team and has written academic book chapters on elbow arthritis and revision total elbow arthroplasty. He is interested in shoulder, elbow, and knee replacement surgery. He also performs advanced arthroscopy of the Shoulder, elbow, and knee. He has conducted research on the reverse total shoulder arthroplasty, flatfoot deformities, and ACL Reconstruction.
Outside of work, Dr. Hendry is very involved with his wife and their four active children. In his spare time, he enjoys skiing, golf, team sports, and video production. Dr. Hendry is proficient in Portuguese with some proficiency in Spanish.
