Saw Dr. Lin for a pre op anesthesia consult after almost 15 operations waking up with poor pain control and bad reactions to certain opioids. Dr lin spent almost 45 min with me going through my history, the details of my EDS, and examined protocols used by past anesthesiologists that did not adequately control my pain and/or resulted in side effects. Dr Lin formulated an anesthesia plan that was taken seriously by the anesthesiologist who handled my most recent surgery and it was one of the handful of surgeries I remember where I did not wake up screaming in pain. Dr Lin truly cares and is very knowledgeable about EDS and pain manangement in general. I highly recommend her for both anesthesia and pain manangement related needs.
