My daughter was born at 25 weeks, 5 days gestation and developed NEC. It required an emergency transfer to Brenner's and Dr. Pranikoff performed the surgery required to save her life. He was very honest with us with the likely outcome (very bad odds) but things went great! After 4 months of healing, he did the bowel reconnection which went just as smoothly. He followed up with us for 6 months after she came home to us and was very kind, patient, and understanding of all of our concerns.
