Dr. Hensing's Background
Dr. Thomas Hensing is the Co-Director of the Thoracic Oncology Program at NorthShore University HealthSystem. His expertise is in thoracic oncology and specifically, lung cancer. Dr. Hensing earned his medical degree at Univeristy of Maryland School of Medicine, and went on to complete his residency and a fellowship at the University of North Carolina. Dr. Hensing is board certified in both internal medicine, and medical oncology. He serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor for the University of Chicago Prtizker School of Medicine.
