I was referred to Dr. Gertel by my regular Dr. for an Elbow issue I was having. Dr. Gertel discussed the options with me about what we could do to avoid surgery. I found Dr Gertel to be very communicative about what was going on. He always took his time with me. I never felt rushed in any questions or interaction we had. I also found him to have a very good sense of humor. In the end the treatment route we took was one that indeed did avoid surgery, and alleviated me of the pain I was experiencing.
