My amazing provider believed I have MS and referred me to no less than three other neurologists before I was able to be seem by Dr McAdams. I spent five and a half years running from office to office, getting endless tests and no answers. Actually, very little communication whatsoever. Dr McAdams took about 40 seconds to concur with my provider's diagnosis and did so by looking at initial MRIs - I didn't have to go get additional scans. Yes, you will wait to see her. That's because she spends (at least my visits have averaged) three hours with you. Asking questions, explaining medical terminology, going over medication and such. When you see Dr McAdams, you feel as though you have an entire team devoted to JUST YOU. She doesn't budge until you have asked her everything you need to ask. Not once has she rushed me or made me feel as though I was wasting her time. So if you have to bring a book and wait a couple hours, you will not be sorry! She is amazing!
