Dr. Hoekstra was recommended when I had extreme breast pain. She was thorough, listened carefully, treated me with respect, and even had an amazing sense of humor. (Appropriate humor--that relieved some tension.) She gave me the truth in a digestible form. Luckily, it was not the Big C. Truly, if anyone I know gets the breast cancer diagnosis, I HOPE they come to Dr. Hoekstra. She is a rare find, making a bad situation actually pleasant. Top notch!
