I went to the Kaiser Zion ER with a serious laceration to my thumb. It went through the nail, nail bed, and wrapped around the side of my thumb. Dr. Meyer had to remove a lot of the nail and suture it all the way around. He did an awesome job of getting it closed up tightly and lined up right. It's healing nicely and looks like the nail will grow back right and it might not even scar. Dr. Meyer took the time to shape the nail to leave as much of it as possible. And his bedside manner was great!
