Dr. Scott Treworgy has been my doctor for over 30 years. He has been a wonderful psychiatrist. He is kind, compassionate, and very professional. I admire his honesty to help me move towards wellness and independence. His expertise in alcoholism and drug addiction and how that affects families is remarkable. He cares very much for his patients. I have seen him be an advocate for a patient who could not speak up for their own health. He was direct and firm to the other professional staff but was also aware the staff's behavior needed to be corrected. No shame was involved. He just expressed his expectations of what type of professional care any patient. I was impressed by his behavior and knew I would keep him as my doctor for as long as I could. Someone with mental health concerns needs someone just like Dr. Treworgy to protect their patient rights when the patient's rights or care is being compromised.
