I cant put into words how grateful I am to Dr Gelman. I came to him with a failed hip replacement from July of 2023- My original surgeon was out on medical leave so I took the opportunity to get fresh eyes on my situation. From day one I noticed a dip in my right hip when I walked but was told it was because the hip is weak and PT would build it up- except it never did. Id had 7 months of PT with little or no improvement- My PT and PCP advised me to get a second opinion- enter Dr Gelman- he was through and he listened to me . I agreed to Revision surgery because clearly something was not right in there. I had the surgery and the nurses came to get me up later that evening and the moment my feet hit the floor I knew immediately Dr Gelman had fixed the problem. I felt stronger and I no longer dipped. I am beyond satisfied and confident that if I or a family member ever need an orthopedic opinion- Dr Gelman will be my first choice.
