Dr. Rand saw my husband on 2 occasions for two different problems. He was able to correctly diagnose one problem and narrow down the other problem to a complication from open heart surgery. Having worked for an extremely intelligent neurologist for 25 years, I have high expectations for medical care; Dr. Rand met those expectations with his probing questions, pinpointed physical exam, matter-of-fact explanations and reasonable recommendations for care. I wish more physicians were like this doctor.

I provide overall care that is efficient, cost effective and safe and try to return athletes to play as quickly as possible. There is more to treating athletes than bones and joints and I focus on the entire person. I perform all the functions of a typical family or internal medicine physician though work with active patients who desire to remain active and want a physician who'll support them in their quest.
