I had my first appointment with Dr. Hankinson and I was pleasantly surprised when his nurse handed me a paper that had some suggestions on nutritious foods and sources for books and documentaries to learn more about the gut microbiome and how and why the food we eat effects the way our body works. When the doctor came in the room he was friendly and as we started to talk I realized this is the doctor I have been searching for my whole adult life. He is holistically aware but he also is a medical doctor and more than qualified to care for his patients and it feels like he actually CARES. He did not push anything on me and I am honestly surprised after reading the other reviews here. I recommended him to all the women in my life when I left that office. I look forward to working with him through my pregnancy and labor experience.
