I worked with Dr.Siris when he was head of the psycho pharmacology Dept. at Mt.Sinai, and conducting studies on depression. He was kind, caring, and genuine, - putting forth sincere and honest efforts to help me with my difficulties. He was generous in sharing his expertise, and was a great source of education before there was access to the internet..I remember him as a dear friend, who answered my letter and a phone call, (to touch base)20 years or so after our working together, Anyone who knew Dr. Siris (his students, colleagues, staff, etc.) would speak of him, or say his name, with warmth and love. It's been nearly 40 years now. It would be nice to work with him a little, once again.
