Dr. Sam is about as laid back and unpretentious as can be. He greets in scrubs.Yea, our first encounter he was ~ an hour late, however made up for it in meetings, as Dr. Cummings, by giving me his undivided attention, and bullshitting with me in casual laymen's language, as long as I had questions for him. He performed a total shoulder replacement on me three years ago. Yea, I wanted to choke him the first few days after the surgery, but I knew I would going into it. LOL. Because I am a single man, living alone in a two story home, he made an extra nights stay in the surgery center possible. Dr. Harmsen works with the companies that manufacture the appliances. He knows his S**T. I have always been a wanna be body builder, and cyclist and in shape for the surgery, with extensive PT prior, and after. I am curious that those that only gave him one star, what kind of shape they were in prior to the surgery, and IF they followed through with PT after. Dr. Sam, YOU ROCK!!! Gregg J Popovec
