After months of extreme and debilitating back pain and having visited orthopedic doctors and pain doctors went to Mt Sinai in Miami Beach. Although Dr Goldsmit had a full schedule he took me on an emergency basis and performed spine fusion surgery over the holidays in December 2022. I had been concerned having read that half of all spine fusion therapies still result in debilitating pain. Dr Goldsmit and his team performed a brilliant surgery. Only modest pain immediate post surgery (level 1/2) that disappears within a few months. No need for pain meds. I would highly recommend him. I am now 9 months post op with no pain and completed physical therapy and ready to go back to a gym for further strength work. Oh and I am 69 with severe neuropathy from chemo therapy 8 years ago. So this has been a huge surprise how well this has worked out. Spine fusion surgery is serious and scary but I have been so pleased with my results. Strongly recommend Dr Goldsmit and his team at Mt Sinai.
