I had a really wonderful experience today in the ER at University of Maryland Shore Health at Easton. Despite the horrendous schedules the healthcare workers have been working; staff shortages; COVID risks and impacts to their personal health, everyone was kind, professional and efficient. I felt very fortunate to receive such great care, during such a challenging time. I offer heartfelt and sincere appreciation to the whole ER staff, with a special shout-out to the ER doctor, Dr Peter Verteramo, Nurse Katherine ( I didn’t get her last name) and all the others who helped. I will follow up with a specialist as Dr Verteramo who was extremely thorough, kind and caring urged me to do. He is a really wonderful doctor, who I highly recommend.
