Dr. Applonie's care was the absolute best care I could hope for. I've had 9 Orthopedic surgeries in the last 20 years, so I have a few to compare his care to. He took the time to review every single slide of the MRI for my shoulder. He explained the defects he saw and his proposed solutions. He answered every question I could come up with. My shoulder was pretty torn up from years of martial arts and weight lifting. I was in constant low level pain and severe pain at night that constantly interrupted my sleep. The surgery went smoothly, but was more extensive than I had hoped for after he diagnosed more damage upon visual configuration with the scope. He had previously briefed me for that possibility so it wasn't a surprise. He relocated the long head of my bicep tendon(tenodisis) resected my clavical,reattached my supraspanatis and repaired my infraspanatis and flattened the underside of my acromion. My shoulder @ 6 months post op is 100%.I haven't been this pain free and functional f
