I have a condition that science hasn't caught up with and can be considered controversial. Dr. Avila was compassionate, understanding and really took the time to understand what was going on. We came up with a few ideas of what to do going forward, it was refreshing that he brought some ideas to the table. I felt like he took things seriously without being an alarmist or recommending unnecessary interventions. I really appreciated that he really recognized the work I've done on my own to treat this- I felt very seen, validated and understood. Take it from someone with traumatic experiences with doctor's- he is a very good option!
