My husband was taken to the ER at Ascension Sacred Heart on January 1, 2023, with a serious infection that had gotten so bad he was septic. Dr. Franz was on call that day. The way he handled my husband's case was exemplary--providing kind, professional, informative help for my very sick husband. If he had not moved quickly, and ordered accurate tests to be performed right away--I'm not sure my husband would have made it. The world would be a better place with more doctors like Dr. Franz.
