Patient Reviews
Mar 08, 2017
Dr. New saved my husband's life. He had ingested a glass fragment last year which lacerated his esophagus and then migrated to the OUTSIDE, continuing to cut. He believed he had choked on a dry corner of toast and damaged his larynx. Our family physician, seeing no blood, accepted David's explanation, prescribed rest. He began to fail, rapidly and I took him. Dr. New had the presence of mind to order a dye test when others showed nothing. But for him, my husband would simply have died.

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
