Thirty years ago, Dr. Engle delivered our daughter who had been diagnosed with a genetic kidney disease never previously diagnosed prenatally, at 28 weeks. He was the one person who gently encouraged us to consider the different possible outcomes. And he did so with a humanity, caring, willingness to listen, supportiveness, and warmth that was truly outstanding. She died at birth as we thought she might but we still talk about him today. He's a great doc and he's an incredible human being.
