I'm a federal government employee who was on deployment in San Juan last month from the states. When I called what I thought were promising doctors' offices, the answering parties would hang up on me when I asked if they spoke English since I speak Spanish poorly. The team members at Doctors on Call, all speak English, were courteous to me and were very concern about my health. I was seen by the team for prescription refills and later for Bronchitis. Dr. Unda, the Medical Director, personally treated my Bronchitis and other medical issues. He went out of his way to arrange expedient X-ray and lab tests be done on the Friday before Memorial Day at the Ashford Hospital, located next to his office building. If I lived in the San Juan area, I would not hesitate to utilize Doctors on Call as my primary health care providers.
