How likely are you to recommend Dr. Ory?

(Select your rating)
I chose Dr. Ory as my Internist, although it was a 3 hour round-trip for every visit. Suffering from Type 1.5 diabetes it was important to me to have more than just a family practice physician manage my care. I contacted him through "MyChart" and requested a script for physical therapy and a medication which he had ordered for my in the past, which wound up being only 8 days worth, via CVS Caremark mail order. His MA asked me who had ordered that last prescription (him) and why I was asking for a 90 day refill. I explained that if had concerns he could write a 30 day script with 2 refills. I than received a "message" from Dr. Ory asking if he could call it in to a local pharmacy, of which I wrote back and explained that 1) our insurance preferred mail via CVSCarmark, and 2) the nearest pharmacy with 45 minutes away, which meant a 1.5 hour round trip. He then questioned why I needed the medication - had been taking 20 years. Nice gentleman and doctor, just not working out for me.
Very nice guy and gentle Phyiscian. — May 20, 2020
