Dr. Maziarz oversaw my treatment for AML with chemotherapy and a stem cell transplant. Even though the odds were against me it was his brilliance in understanding the science behind the treatment that lead to what is considered a cure. In addition his insight into treating GvHD lead to recovery that exceeded my expectation.
