I've had multiple visits, as a caregiver, and I never cease to be amazed at Dr. Arwood's brilliant problem-solving skills. The patient has complex comorbidities, so balancing medications is like threading a needle. Fortunately, I've never known the doctor to be wrong about anything. Also, he has given this patient a ton of time. I don't know how he stays so sharp working the long hours he does. The patient has a lot of doctors who come across more like pill mills. They follow the protocols, process the patients, and send them out the door. Dr. Arwood takes time to understand, and he has an uncanny knack for knowing when he has the right answer. It is always a joy to see his mind at work. The patient and I are convinced his interventions have saved his life multiple times when specialists were recommending other courses of action.
