Patient Reviews
Jul 17, 2023
It's very likely that Dr. Deits saved my life. After two cardiac 'events', both my general practitioner and a cardiologist at Sutter told me that my only option was to have an echocardiogram using radioactive material. I declined and was sent home. By chance, an appointment I'd made with Dr. Deits prior to his move from Sutter to Adventist was still open. He scheduled a CTA which showed a severe blockage in a main artery. The test results were sent to my general practitioner who then called to tell me I should ignore the CTA results--that he had worse results on his and was fine just taking medication. In the meantime, Dr. Deits scheduled an exploratory catheterization at St. Helena's which revealed two blockages (90% and 70%) in the LAD--the "widowmaker artery." Needless to say, two stents later, I'm very grateful to Dr. Deits.
