How likely are you to recommend Dr. Peterson?
Dr. Peterson was put in charge of my care after I had brain surgery for a benign tumor. He is a very good listener, and a kind person in general. The only issue I had was after experiencing side effects that got increasingly worse for four months, I went back in and after another MRI to verify that there wasn’t anything new going on, I was told this was going to be my new normal. I felt like Dr. Peterson was irritated, and wasting his time. Knowing that he deals with patients much worse off than me, I can understand if he felt this way. However, It was never explained to me that this could occur. This was not necessarily Dr. Peterson’s responsibility, I had a neurosurgeon who preformed my surgery...I thought I’d asked the right questions, maybe not. I was in surgery less than two months after my diagnosis. There was definitely a lack of communication, but like I said it wasn’t only on Dr. Peterson. It was me, the neurosurgeon, and Dr. Peterson not knowing who explained what.
