- With a passion for medicine that goes back as far as her memory permits, Dr. Hernandez was driven to pursue her dream of becoming a doctor. After completing medical school and her residency at UT Southwestern, where she served as chief resident, that ambition became reality. As a specialist in family medicine, she treats individual patients and the entire family – providing invaluable insight into their dynamics and wellbeing while also developing strong relationships built on shared decision-making. Now living back in the DFW metroplex, she enjoys spending quality time with loved ones during those precious moments away from work.
