In June, 2016, I was in a big rush and caught the tip of my right index finger in a slamming door and thought I would lose my fingertip. Dr. Thiara made about 20 (I don't recall the exact number) meticulous, fine sutures to re-attach the mostly-hanging finger tip back to the finger. Today ( Feb, 2021), I have a faint, long, curving scar where the flesh had been ripped, but my finger is essentially back to normal. Amazing.
