Dr. Ward was my dad's oncologist, when he was diagnosed with late stage cholangiocarcinoma (bile duct cancer). Dr. Ward helped my dad and my family understand the severity of his disease in both a caring and compassionate way. As a result, my dad chose to have Steward Hospice provide his home care, who worked hand-in-hand with Dr. Ward. We couldn't have asked for a more caring, supportive, and responsive oncologist for my dad, who was 89 when he was diagnosed.
