Patient Reviews

I'm walking proof of Dr Stelzer's skill and talent. I think I was in the 150 number of the 550 Ross proceedures that he flawlessly performed back in Aug 1999. I just had a nuclear stress test and a transesophageal echocardiography which found my heart valves in great shape. I still remember meeting this friendly exuberant confident doctor, who took the time to throughly explain the proceedure. He put me at ease and I had all the confidence in the world that this operation would be successful. My wife couldn't believe how relaxed I was going into surgery. Dr. Stelzer even took my wife and 2 daughters out to lunch while I recovered. 5 days after my surgery I walked to the elevator to leave while a nurse chased me with a wheel chair. Thanks to Dr Stelzer I have lived an active life without blood thinners or other heart drugs other than cholesterol meds. I was lucky that 23 years ago a friend, who was also the recipient of Dr Stelzer's skills, recommended the Ross and Dr Stelzer.
