My wife was recently treated for a blood clot in her leg at Midstate hospital. Dr. Thompson was the vascular surgeon that successfully performed the surgery to save her life and her leg. We were fortunate to have met him that day. In all the frightening confusion, he guided us by answering all our questions in a patient manner. He talked with us and not at us. He was empathetic to my feelings of concern and immediately spoke with me following the operation. He told me what to expect and called my home later that week to see how she was progressing. He called on a Friday evening prior to his leaving for a family getaway. Thank you so much Dr. Thompson.
