I first met Dr. Kallemeier in the ER with a very aggressive finger infection. The first surgery was to remove the infection. Although I had only shown symptoms for a couple hours the Strep was already in my bloodstream. I got fairly sick after surgery and in the middle of the night she came in and got me started on an additional antibiotic which got me turned around. Ultimately the finger was too damaged to save but she provided me with excellent care and information the entire time. She also reached out to fellow surgeons for advice and recommendations which I really appreciated. Knowing your physician cares while going through a difficult situation means a lot. Recovery and follow up care also went great. Highly recommend Dr. Kallemeier and her team.
