I flew into Las Vegas for my husband’s best friend, Frank Sinatra’s concert at Caesar’s Palace …I was stiff from the long flight, and had an hour and a half so I went down to the tennis court to play with the hotel pro. She hit a high shot I jumped and fell and smashed my wrist….an ambulance arrived and I had to go to hospital and missed the concert. The doctor told me I would never move my wrist again and I should fuse my hand into a fist. I came back to the hotel, and went straight to bed and missed the concert…the next day I told the Sinatras what happened…Frank said you are coming back to Palm Springs with us, my friend Dr Picchione will sort you out. Frank drove me to Dr Picchione’s office, he hired a therapist to travel a year with me Jutta Hanss) doing wrist exercises 3 times a day, and I am now in my 80’s and thanks to her and to Dr Picchione my wrist, is as good as new!
