I have been a patient at the Eye Center for about 8 years, Like many patients, I was apprehensive about having cataract surgery. I shared my concerns with the team and was reassured at every turn that their staff had experienced the cause of my fears and successfully achieved the goal of enhanced vision. I elected to have the computer-assisted procedure on both eyes. My anxiety was still pretty high going into the first surgery, but afterward, the reward of seeing 20/25 when the bandage was removed the next day was a moment of elation. The second surgery's results were even better: 20/20. Because I chose to have the distance-correction lenses inserted, I only need bifocals now!My one piece of advice would be to have the procedure done as soon as you can. You have a long life ahead of you, and you want to see every moment clearly!
